Hi! I’ve been on folksy for about a month but even with all my advertisements I’ve had minimal traffic :sob: I’d love it if some of you would pop over to my little shop and show some love :sparkling_heart:

Hello, I’m Angela, designer/maker at AAM Jewellery. I’m new(ish) to Folksy so still trying to feel my way around it. It does seem to be a very supportive community on here…not to mention talented!! Any advice would be more than welcome :grinning:

Hi I’m Georgie, I’ve been a member of Folksy for a while but only recently just got a little more serious about selling properly (my 2 boys keep me very busy) I seem to be getting visits to my shop and getting quite a lot of likes on my products but these just don’t turn into sales. What advice can people give me? Are my prices to high?

All looks fantastic Georgie! Your prices look very reasonable to me…Have followed on all platforms. Pinterest has a Folksy Christmas board and you will find Christmasy places to share (here on the Forums) your wonderful festive makes. Good luck with everything x

Thank you so much, will keep my fingers crossed I make a few sales soon

Hi I recently joined folksy and am loving all the unique items here  I make vibrant crochet items, I’ve not managed to sell anything yet but have had a few likes. I think it may take me a little while to learn how to market the items, if anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful.

Hi, just reopened my shop after an absence of a couple of years. Plan to be a lot more pro active this time. I mainly do oil paintings and have my original artwork printed onto different gift items which I will be adding as I go along. Think drip feeding items might be a better approach that loading them all at once but would love peoples advice on what has worked for them. Looking forward to being part of the group again.

Hello GrannyDazzle- fantastically scrummy colours and designs…and welcome. I’m relatively new to but you are in the right place for starters. Great tips and guidance here. Instagram has been very kind to me and after lots and lots of promo (which I don’t love doing, but can completely see the benefits) Traffic is increasing! The great news is Folksy Folk full-stop! Incredibly supportive and kind…I took 3 parcels to the post office today and 2 are en route to fellow Folksy shop owners! Loads of luck to you and happy crocheting x

Hello all! I’m so excited to be here amongst you lovely, creative people. My partner and I are makers and creators. We’re concentrating on handmade jewellery at the moment and have just opened a shop here on Folksy - yay!

It would be so nice to meet a few folks here and get chatting.

Hi everyone!

I am new to Folksy and I hope this lands in the right place! I am looking forward to finding my way round and seeing all your lovely things.

I live near Seaham beach - woo hoo! It’s the best place for sea glass and is full of sea glass pickers and collectors every day. I love going and finding these hidden gems. I love making art from sea glass. I make unique, one off pieces and also custom made personalised pieces for special occasions. I also make suncatchers and keyrings from my larger pieces. I have listed some items - more coming soon.

Well, that is a little about me. My shop is https://folksy.com/shops/SeaGlassSeaham
feel free to pop over and have a little look. Thanks for reading, Carol
