Where would you look to find these products?

Hey everyone of Folksy! Hope we’re all well.
I’m a faux florist doing corsages, buttonholes and more for weddings.
I’m struggling to list my products under the categories available and wanted a wee hand on what you guys would look under if you were looking for corsages or buttonholes for weddings. An outside look would be very much appreciated.

For Corsages I have the options of
Clothing & Accessories ->Accessories ->Corsages
orrrr
Wedding → Stationary & Accessories → Everything else

Buttonholes
Clothing & Accessories ->Accessories ->Corsages or everything else.
OOORRRRR
Wedding → Stationary & Accessories → Everything else

I feel both are really not suitable for my business. They are limiting and hide them away. I have added a post to vote for adding a flowers category under wedding which would be perfect but I’m unsure of how successful this will be. I have over 70 listings to add so really would love some help.
I would love to list them twice under both categories but that isn’t allowed.

Thanks so much,
Fay

Use just the word corsage in your tags. Make the tags simple.

Good morning Fay, I would mix them up and use both sections interchangeablyon your listings making sure you add a good selecton in each category, then use your tags and description to add key words like wedding etc., I find it’s the search that people will use more often when they are looking for someting and you can use multiple word tags as well such as ‘wedding corsage’. This way if customers use the sections they will see a good selection of your items in either cathegory and can also easily find them via the search.

Good luck with your shop

Hi Ya,

I agree with Max, I’d mix and match bits. If you just put your corsage’s under wedding you may find you miss out on some business such as senior school Proms and things!

Good Luck,

Cheers Lou
