Well done

@Littlelinsy to gain more views promotion in as many different places as possible is the key. Also finding your target market. Don’t forget to use as many photo’s as you can we can use up to 5. Try to take a photo of the inside of your case’s to show the material inside. Hope that helps

Thank you all

Hi Esterina, thanks for the info, I did all the deleting and, and not sure that worked. I did manage to edit in the end, but had to change each photograph separately. I will monitor how it goes, if it doesn’t improve I may close my store and just use Etsy, as that is where my sales seem to come from.

A lot the time it is us not clearing our history and things like that, I doubt if its Folksy fault which could be why they weren’t much help. Hope it improves, shame you may close. Good luck. If its still its not working, try asking again as I’m sure someone will know.

I am so pleased I have just sold some bunting!!! So happy! One up for the ā€œother siteā€ :heartpulse:

Hi, I’ve had a few problems with adding photos to my listings. I have found that using a different browser can help get around this, so it may also help with other editing isues.

I’ve had 2 sales this month - my first two. I’ve been here for a couple of months, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I am not sure how my customers found me as they certainly aren’t people I know, but I’d love to be able to repeat whatever it was!

I had my first sale today so I’m happy. I’m not quite used to folksy yet as I am ā€˜the other site’ but it seems a friendly place to be.

It’s been slow for me for months. I’ve probably only sold half a dozen things in as many months, I sold one sale item in Jan. Maybe I need to do more tweeting and Pinterest to promote things but there seems little time in the day to do all this extra social networking as it is.

Its good to hear sales are happening
I put my shop in holiday mode over Christmas and lost a lot of my creative mojo. So I put my hand up to the fact I’ve not been as tentative to my little shops needs lately
I’ve had the January blues mainly due to the dull long dark nights and days, but with spring just around the corner I’m beginning to feel motivated again. Such a relief to feel creative again. It makes me happy
So not a whisper of a sale for me for months but that’s my own fault as I know.
I’m looking forward to a positive 2015 with hopefully a few sales along the way.

Karen

Two sales for me today which is nice … ordered by the same buyer … so I refund excess postage. I find that works out better for me because of the weight variation of my work and so is fair to the customer too.

I saw your lovely gull bowl being featured on the Folksy facebook page this morning, so you’ll probably have lots of views too

It was sold by lunchtime. Maybe as a result of being on FB. Thanks for letting me know  x

You’re welcome

Strangely, I started listing jewellery a couple of weeks ago in my shop, and since then I have sold 3 cards (Hardly sold any cards last year) Not complaining though.
