It’s not much use to me if the client has specific instructions and I’m not getting the emails. Had a sale yesterday and nothing. Or is this the norm? I thought we always got email notifications?
You should get an email notification of sales from Folksy and if you’re not then I would email support as it might mean that one of the email servers needs resetting - definitely something they should be made aware of and look into. Any specific instructions from the customer will be on the order page - under the photo of the item the ‘notes from buyer’ will be there, just above the shipping address.
im having same issue! i sold stuff a week ago and only just found out now which is awful and was because a bank transfer came through
I have sent you an email via your shop contact button to check that emails are going to your correct address. If you don’t see it then maybe things are going into your junk mail or your address is incorrectly set ?

Ive got that, thank you! Ive checked everywhere junk for the folksy team sales emails and nothing, its so weird
You need to contact support . They can tell what has been sent so should sort it . Xx
just worked out the item was out of stock, what is going on, folksy support will have my concerned email and hopefully help me!
I’ve just spotted an order from last week for which I had no notifications - until the Stripe deposit email today which gave me a start! I do usually check my dashboard regularly but am in the midst of a kitchen refit so a bit distracted.
I had orders Tuesday and Saturday and all emails came in as normal. I use a Gmail addresss for Folksy and a different Outlook address for Paypal.
Got two emails for each order as normal.
.
@HelenSmith and @lilybankart it’s probably worth opting in for payment notification emails from Stripe (these are different to the deposit emails you mentioned receiving) whilst Folksy gets to the bottom of this (or in case it ever happens again). To turn these on you need to log into your stripe account, click on the little cog top right, then profile, scroll down to communication preferences and click on that, scroll down and toggle on ‘successful payments’.
Folksy support have sorted this for me. It was to do with their address being marked as spam accidently.
Something seems to be marking Folksy emails as spam. I know it wasn’t me. So ensure you put the folksy email addresses on you safe list.
Oddly in the last hour my laptop has junked three perfectly good emails
( including a microsoft email delivery confirmation which is just plain stupid ).
Fortunately it has handled too many of my Folksy order emails for it to be childish enough to play games with those
My emails go through my website provider and then on to my gmail account. They weren’t in my gmail spam but when I logged on to the webmail account they were trapped there - along with a few other perfectly harmless things that I used to receive with no problem. No idea why it’s suddenly got so over-sensitive! So I’ve been adding a list of domains to the safe list.
