Are your sales picking up yet?

It’s all gone quiet ! No sales since Sept ! Whats going on ? I’m new to Folksy and I’m still finding my feet :athletic_shoe: but I’m reassured to hear similar stories of slow sales. :mountain_bicyclist:Good luck everyone !

I had a little flurry in September but it’s all gone quiet again :frowning:

Sorry to say…
…your support for our shop didn’t work either and I have to admit I did not expect it to work as we do not use all the various ‘social-media’ links (a waste of time on those anyway).
Our sales direct and retail are very good and slightly up on last year (and I’m supposed to be retired!).
So, once our items expire by the end of the year on here, we will close up shop and focus elsewhere.
Thanks for your support anyway,
Regards,
J.

My shop is really quiet too even though I have added new items. October was abysmal and nothing in November yet, another thing I’ve noticed all of my regular customers have disappeared so it must be my products.

I love your jewellery Dawn, just wish I could afford to buy more from you, hoping I get some sales as I’ve got my eye on a couple of items.

Thank you Lynn.

seem to be - people starting on Xmas shopping now I think

Almost two weeks into November and I’ve only had one sale. I’m wondering if this is some kind of general trend as the Post Office was empty when I went in yesterday. I feel like my shop has become invisible and the harder I try, the more invisible it gets!

Well the Christmas adverts started to appear on TV this week, so…
But I was shopping in Norwich last Wednesday and there was a definite lack of Christmas cheer on the high street.
Do we dare mention Black Friday?
Maybe the thought of bagging a bargain will light the buying frenzy, that Christmas has become?

I remember starting a thread last year asking whether people were holding out for Black Friday, so my sales can’t have been that good at that time. But they were certainly better than this November so far…

Hardly any sales here too. I wonder if folksy as a whole has picked up sales wise @folksycontent

I’m usually getting 2 or 3 orders a day by now. Think I’ve gone invisible. Yesterday’s order was from a frequent existing customer. Getting rather worried to be honest.

Strange days indeed if a successful seller like you is not getting sales, Joy. I hope it picks up for all of us soon.

Yeah, that’s how I feel right now! Haven’t had any sales since September, but the first half of year till June was pretty good. Here’s hoping things pick up for us all soon!

I’m going proactive Just paid for a boost via Facebook, Got a lot of views and a few sales last time.

And then there is the lovely Dottie at British Crafters who is a super promotiom ‘tool’ xx

Same here, sales are more or less non existent. In the past three years that I have sold on here I have never gone more than 2 weeks without a sale until last week when it went over the 3 week mark. Something doesn’t feel right and I don’t know what it is. Even the lady at the post office has commented that I’ve not been in with packages as regularly as I used to.

My sales are rubbish too :frowning:

Well, pickle my walnuts, 3 orders in the past hour! Hope the sales get shared around.

I am getting regular sales now but they are intermittent between Folksy, the other site and my commission sales.

It would be nice to have a steady drip from each of my selling channels but can’t really complain!
