Oh wow, what a lovely space Daisy and Beth look lovely too and right at home in there.
Sarah they are pendant motors , they have a flexible shaft a bit like a dentists drill. you can use them for cutting, grinding, drilling polishing depending on what tool you put on the end.
I have a small corner of our bedroom for my cardmaking stuff but if Iām using the sewing machine I need to use the dining table, although I sometimes need to shift my sonās wargaming models off there first, (donāt really know why we call it the dining table we certainly donāt use it for eating off much!)
I think I must have had a tidy up before this photo as itās certainly not like this at the moment
Wow some of the craft rooms on here are amazing! Iād love my own space but currently im in a bedsit
so there isnāt space for anything!! Its not fun packing up everything each night
Aha- I thought they looked a bit dentisty, but what a good idea .
Wow! what inspiring craft rooms. I donāt have a dedicated craft room, although I do use our snug for storage, but tend to sew at the table, like so many other crafters. It must be wonderful to have a space you can call your own to sit and make, and so many advantages - no disturbance, not having to tidy away everything before youāve finished etc. I shall dream on!
Iām working in the kitchen luckily a large kitchen with a big oak table. Great when husbands at work and teenagers at college
oh how jealous am I, I have a tiny shed. I can only dream of having a shed like this, I now have shed envy !
itās beautiful
More of a cupboard than a room ⦠but it does the job ā¦
P,S Having wisteria envy ⦠beautiful!
nothing short of idyllic. Lucky you
I know Iām really very lucky to have such a big space - although I do have to share it with my art student son during the university holidays. But glassworking equipment is mostly pretty big, my kiln takes up a whole corner even though it is just a small one⦠saving up for a sandblaster next. Iād love a wet belt sander but I donāt think I have space sigh.
Yes I have one that is a shared office but I never use it now as I have to work where I can see little pixie playing so the dining table it is!
Nooo, wish I had, all my stock is scattered around the house, the sitting room is where I have most of it. Taken over the coffee table drawers, hubby doesāt use one of them!!
I have a craft room the spare bedroom has been turned into a craft room. I will take more photos and blog about my craft room.
I share a small craft room with a large cage, inhabited by my pet Deguās! The watch me as I craft, and often come out to āassistā me, as you can see from the photo of my desk! They are called Trixie and Lucy. The photo is of their dad Bob who sadly died last month.
hee hee, very cute
love that pic with the mountains. I do a bit of that and that photography love nature.
Would be ashamed to show a wide angled shot of our Studio as it is always such a tip!
We have 4 desks in here, one for the computer, 2 in an L shape - Gary sits behind these and I can turn from the computer to work on one of these desks too. The last desk has our A3 printer under it and on top it is the place we both shove stuff to get it off our other desks!
We have a map of the World on one wall, with stars wherever we have sold a print. The opposite wall is where a large shelving system sits and the remaining wall space is covered in pinboards where we pin up job lists, stock lists and inspirational photos.
When we moved here we decided to fit studio lighting and have three large day light tubes overhead so can work at any time of the day or night. Our printing press sits in one corner and when not in use is covered with a large towel which usually has a cat on top of that or taking up room on one of the desks
I have but then I still spread gear all around the house with work in progress but my family understand that Iām naturally untidy anyway!!
I have some shelves in the meter cupboard (I was soo happy to have my own cupboard! haha!) and my sewing machine is nearly permanently located on one half of our dining table in the sitting room, with my ironing board behind the sofa! I think my wee ones should get a room each first before I get a sewing room
So thankful to have our own little corner though, one day my husband may get his workshop and I my sewing room!
