I have a shed that took 3 months of sweat and tears to build (and 5 coats of paint, inside and out!) … hence why I’m now called ‘My Little Sewing Shed’. I love it! And I can leave it messy without the kids and husband moaning! Oh, and I like to keep a hidden stash of chocolate and wine … in case of emergencies!
wow everyones workrooms (and cabins) so neat and tidy!! I can’t seem to work without causing chaos lol
I do have a photo of whet it looks like about once a year though lol
The soap I make in the kitchen, but everything else happens in here.
I started off in the attic office. But as I acquired more tools and started soldering I realized it wasn’t the ideal place anymore. So I booted my dear hubby out of his work room, which is an extension on our house and we turned it into a full blown workshop. I love retreating to that space and I even got him to leave some of his tools behind!
Well my craft room is just a super long desk in my room with paints and papers and everything crafty in it. yours looks very professional.lovely Astrid.
Yes , I have my own craft room … needs tidying up before I show you a photo !
Everyones craft rooms look so tidy … mine is tidy for 30 min , and then I start pulling fabrics out … and it’s untidy again , as I have a few projects on the go at the same time !

My room is like that lol I only had a tidy photo as I took it to show my family back in wales. It only looks like that once a year just after christmas when I have more time for cleaning Will keep an eye out for your tidy photo lol
When I started this thread I didn’t think I’d see so many wonderful craft rooms! Wow! And also thank you because I can now show them to my hubby when he says I don’t need one LOL!
I have converted my (wooden) garage into my studio. I’d like something a bit more substantial, bit bigger and warmer in winter. In winter my clay freezes solid, which isn’t too good!
Your work spaces all look Soooooo tidy. I couldn’t work in a tidy environment.
this is the ‘upgraded’ corner of my shed, so I can start sawing and soldering metal jewellery!! it’s quite snug in there now, but feels kind of cosy, and I managed to keep my futon chair - my cat would have hated to see that go seeing as he spends his time snoozing on it so much <img src=
Thank you we live in a converted chapel so all the windows are like that. they look nice but they’re a nightmare to clean lol
I’d love a little shed like yours, it looks so cozy and well organised.

Yes, I have a small spare room that I use as my working room, it has minimum furniture (a desk, a bookcase and a futon) and plenty of shelves and hooks to hang some paintings. I haven’t finished decorating it as I need curtains, but I am quite happy with the space. I also painted an old writing desk and some of the shelves. Here are some images
We had enough headroom above the garage and so my lovely husband squeezed a floor in and so I have a tiny craft loft with great views over field to the sea. Perfect!
