Folksy 365 - Daily Listing Challenge Thread - AUGUST 2018

( Carol ) #301

Roz @OrchardFelts and Sasha @SashaGarrett The symbol chart for the shawl surfaced in 2012. In 2013, someone wrote it up in text and called it Dreieckstuch which means triangle cloth in German. In 2015, it appears that someone else decided that the shawl was going viral so they named it Virus Shawl (virus tuch) at that time. It’s been known as the virus shawl ever since. There is also a virus blanket and poncho.

Good morning yay happy dancing for your sale Natalie :dancer:

That’s wonderful Roz @OrchardFelts, and very well deserved your work is brilliant and doing a happy dance for your sale too  :dancer:

I wonder what forgotten goodies you will find Rachel @Verchielbeadsandjewellery as you pack up your shop, whenever I have a tidy up I always find something I put to one side then forgot about, it’s like finding little gifts

Sarah @thedotterypotter that’s very stressful for you, I remember how difficult it was with both of mine when they went away as teenagers, I found distraction works well, especially something different to the normal day to day stuff, I think we actually cleared out and decorated their bedrooms for them. I’m sure he’ll have a fabulous time and the experience will be really good for him.

Morning, great achievement Roz @OrchardFelts , wish I had the courage to enter some of my work.

Having a great week because I’m pretty quiet with orders and am catching up with all the house chores. Happens each August although when September comes I wish I had been making more stock. Ah well, keep reminding myself I am retired.
