Thank you, @feelfeltfound. Good to know my products are educational! Iāll send you the test paper later.
I actually have some designs on paper for other parrots but have not got around to turning them into bag form yet. I did a spix parrot bag that sold & in doing my research, found that the star of the animated film Rio was a Spix Macaw.
Good morning all, happy dancing for your sales Janice @JanicesJewels, Helen @HRNicholsonart and Chris @ChrisStoneArtist
Sorry started a whole can of wormies with the CN22 postage. I checked again on RM and it says if you use international standard or economy you need to get the postage label from the post office you canāt print them off individually (at least I couldnāt find them anywhere on the RM website - unless you use click and drop) these are the ones that have a bar code on them, if you take it to the PO they will scan and input the data onto the system which is then transferred electronically to the US, if you pop it in the post box it will get scanned at the airport and if itās not already on the system they will add it, but there may be a delay. If you are sending tracked or tracked and signed you can print them off the RM website as you donāt need a bar code as the tracking label they add already has a code. This is what it says on the RM website:-
If you are sending your item by a Royal Mail International Tracked, Signed or Tracked & Signed service, you can download this label here.
Hereās how to complete a CN22 form.
If you are sending your item by Royal mail International Standard or Economy, your Post Office branch can give you the appropriate (barcoded) CN22 label.
Hope that helps, Brenda @teabreaks a small batch is in the post today for you
Morning all. Sunny here at the moment but there are some big clouds building up.

Sasha and Max, I agree with you re the CN22 labels. Barcode for standard, not for tracked and signed. Using click and drop means you donāt have to worry about any of that as the system does it all for you including the customs label. Life was simpler when there was only 1 customs label, or was there always 2?
OK back to the matter in hand, a relist from me today -
Morning everyone,
Todayās listing is a sewing needle case
Iām not sure if this will work as Iāve done it from my phone!
Yay, it did
The revised, 2 different CN22s came into being at the beginning of this year. (There may also be 2 types of CN23 but since the insurance only goes up to Ā£250 I split shipments to stay under the insurance threshold and havenāt had to get my head around the CN23) Small scale/ domestic shippers are the last to be made to include barcodes and pre submission of customs data, business accounts and couriers have had to do it for a while now.
more confused than ever now MaX @MaxPringJewellery
Reading what you have put is sounds like I have to go to the post office every time I want to post something to the US?..That canāt be rightā¦people put items in the post box all the time. Maybe they are talking about thicker packages. I often have to send Large letters because I add a piece of card to protect the paintings and that makes it fractionally too thick to go through the slot. Other than that, it is really just like a letter.
I am not sending tracked or signed forā¦just regular mail.
Good morning Iām all caught up to here and I have a new listing today a pretty forget me not bag charm
have a great day everyone
xxx
Sasha @SashaGarrett As I said above to Max, the more I read, the more I am confusedā¦my items are just a flat envelopeā¦sometimes just too thick to go through the LETTER slotā¦They could just be a birthday card for all anyone knows.
From what I am reading , it surely cannot mean that every time I want to post to the US, I have to get to a post office. (Impossible for me right now)
I will end up having to do UK only and that could ruin what I do right now. My only interest in life these daysā¦
Everyone seems to have different information. I only want to put a (LARGE) letter A5 size in my local box with stamps on it from Tesco ( or wherever).

That must be what my brain looked like last week Brenda when I was trying to find the correct HS custom code for my pottery! Very Apt!
With these cn22 stickers I am sending you, you will be able to do exactly what you require, add a stamp and put it in a letterbox.
