Whoop, I made my first sale on here! I’ve been an Etsy girl for years but thought I’d give this a whirl … hmmm … maybe there’s something in this Folksy thingy. Starting to slowly list more items and see what happens.

Yay! Had my first sale the other week 
It’s taken a while, but I finally feel that I’m getting somewhere. Now I just need to get the kids back to school. 
yay just passed the 500 sales mark
I have won 2nd prize at the Festival of Quilts at the NEC with my violin piece, people not only visit from all over the world but they send work in to be judged too. I’m over the moon, especially as there’s a large cash prize to go with it. I only really entered to get my work shown to 1000’s and 1000’s of visitors and hopefully bring some traffic to folksy, although, nothing more than my name was showing, I have gained several new followers on Facebook in the last few days so, maybe it has worked to a point

I can’t quite believe it, but I’ve scraped into The Folksy bestsellers list this weekend.
Its sure taken a while, but I am so pleased, that I had to come on here and blow my own trumpet!

Just had to tell everyone that I’ve just had my first sale! Nearly fell off my chair with excitement. May it be the first of many. Keep up the good work, fellow crafters. We produce some pretty cool stuff between us, don’t we?
