Hi Rachel. We’re on @folksyhq on Instagram and we use the hashtags #feelingfolksy #studiofolksy #folksywip #folksy. The best way to link to your Folksy shop is to add it as a clickable link in your Instagram profile.
Have you read this post about hashtags? It’s very good.

Thank you for that, I have read the guide thank you Sara for the guide - now to see if I reach more people
Hi, looking for a little advise please. I have tried putting a link to my shop on instagram by typing www.folksy etc etc but it doesnt become a hyperlink - does anyone know how to add a hyperlink to instagram please?
I just put a link in my profile information. So that if someone sees something they like they can click on it. You should be able to add it in where it says to edit info. If it doesn’t show up in blue on your main page then I would check that you are putting the correct address in?
Mine is www.folksy.com/shops/kernowclaire
Hope that helps
Claire
Thank you Claire I will do that.

Hi, I’m Jan & have taken the giant leap & signed up to Instagram. Have managed to link in my Folksy shop on my profile - other than that I don’t have much of a clue!
Will be doing some finding out about hash tags & how it all works, but not til after Christmas now.
Will also get round to following my fellow friendly & helpful Folksy crafters.
Happy Christmas!

Thanks for the follow @Julieannrdesigns. When you get going, don’t forget the important #
These will get you found better.
I have started following you.
Thank you for following me @Amberlilly and @hobbitgirlie1880. Have noted about the # but am not really sure about these yet, but will add some when I have figured it out.
I think we all have trouble with #'s
I know at first I didn’t know what to put but now I just put lots of different ways of saying handmade jewellery. And descriptive words about the jewellery.
If you are directing people to here always put folksyshop folksyhq and there are others too.
Hope that helps

I am also an emerging instagrammer - I like the fact it is so visual and not too much narrative.
