Please show me your upcycled and unique items for pinning on Pinterest. When I say unique I mean one of a kind never to be repeated. I can not promise to pin every item, however if I do pin your item I will come back to this post and let you know.
Lovely idea, thank you for doing this. The embroidery for this make up bag came from a vintage tablecloth.
Oh my what fabulous embroidery I so think it deserves to be Pinned, it needs to be shared as wide as possible. I just love it when vintage items are given a new lease of life.
I have over two years experience of being utterly confused and baffled by Pinterest but just worked out how to follow you on there Sue
And I’m determined to learn more too…
As you maybe know I’m a by the seat of your pants kind of women, I just dive in and hope for the best. I’m too old to be bothered by the fact that on occasion I make a fool of myself and make many mistakes but I try to learn from them.
I admit I still struggle with editing pins when posted direct from Instagram or Folksy but I will get the hang of it eventually as I am sure you will too. I have popped over and follow you back.
Thanks Sue, will get the hang of it,
Probably…
My favourite piece is this one, although it’s not probably what you are looking for, ALL of my work is unique as in never to be repeated, impossible to repeat.
As for Pinterest, nope, still don’t ‘get it’ but when Ive a minute ill keep having a go

@DaisyWings thank you I have booked mark it for pinning later
@PaintedHorseArt can you post a link as pinning the picture wont help promote you
Thanks Sue
@PaintedHorseArt on your Pinterest account the link to your folksy does not work because I think you have an extra http in the url even though it doesn’t show it.
Sue, you’re an inspiration. One of these days I’ll get back to my Pinterest account and get the hang of it!
Meanwhile here’s something that’s upcycled AND unique:
Thank you for those kind words but I’m still winging it not fully got the hang of it completely but that won’t stop me trying.
Love the spoon and have bookmarked it for pinning later
You are an inspiration Sue
I have been called many things in my life but an inspiration is a new one lol
Here you go.
See told you I’m rubbish with Pinterest I didn’t even know how to add a link to my folksy shop, I can’t even figure out how to pin something to a board or how to make a board
I am sure someone here will be able to explain how to edit the folksy link, but I think you have to click on the circle picture to the right (on a lap top) which brings up your profile and then edit the link just put folksy.com/shops/PaintedHorseArt and leave off the http:// as i think that is automatically added which might be why you have 2
So impressed with your many ideas to promote Folksy, Sue @MinpinTowers , and not just ideas, but action! All items in my shop are unique one offs, as are made with left over remnants, often really tiny bits of fabric that most people would throw away. Did you want me to put links on this thread to any /all items?
Thank you, I’ll go take a look later, I dont ever remember putting a link to my folksy shop in there but I guess I must have done. Thank you so much for your help x
