Hey everyone.
Just learning my way around at the moment. Looking forward to getting involved in this rather lovely, active community you’ve got here too.
Give me a shout if you need a custom card some time? Yeah?
Hi, Ive been on folksy a while but only recently got my shop up and running. lots more to come! Im Lou and Im from North Yorkshire!
Hi, I’ve just setup Crochetbox and though it is just in its infancy I hope folk like the goods. What should I do next for publicity - all new to this forum stuff as you can tell… I like the jazzy yellow colour you’ve given me at the top of my shop by they way, but how do I tailor make this if I wanted a change? Is there a section for “edit shop”? Hope this entry hasn’t appeared twice…apologies if it has!
E.
Hello!
I’m Kirsty of SkyBluePinkPolkaDots. Crochet is my first love but I suffer with nasty RSI if I do it too much, so only tend to take on private commissions and make my own stuff
My store is for my design work, mainly banners and bunting that I sell for £1. Bargain!
Nice to ‘meet’ you all xxx
Hi I’m Sue. I’ve been on Folksy for awhile, though I’m not always around on the forums so maybe a newby to some of the more recent new sellers. I make textile items using homespun or vintage fabrics to create my homespun pieces. Initially inspired by all the homespun makes I used to see on my visits to USA where I fell in love with their homespun style crafts.
Popping in to the forums to say hello - as I’ve been away for quite a long time!
Hello!
I’m Laura from made by lolly.
I design and make colour themed collections of felt accessories. I’m currently working my way through listing all of the items in my Autumn/Winter 2014 Colour Pop Collection. ‘PRIMROSE’ has already been uploaded - but there are lots more designs to come!
Hi, well this is a first for me. Just opened a store with a few things that I make. I tend to hop around from one craft to another so I end up with quite a few different things. Will be adding more as the weeks go on, right now I am just finishing the jam and pickle making for the summer/autumn.
Just a quick introduction, my name is Wendy and I have just opened a shop called Gower Bags. As the name suggests I am from Gower in Wales.
I have only 6 items in my shop at the minute, but hope I can get some more photo soon. talking of which, my photos are appalling, trying lots of different things to try and improve them

Welcome to Folksy everyone
So many lovely shops.
I love your bags Wendy @gowerbags
I always find the photography the trickiest part of having an online shop. I am learning slowly what works and what doesn’t.

Am new to this so just saying hi to everyone! I’ve just put my first 3 items on … that took me a while! Worrying if they’re good enough to sell, wondering if the photos are ok, trying to figure out the courier costs! Aagh!! So I decided to just do it! Got a few more things in the pipeline and feeling excited and confident about this little venture!
What I do need to work out is how to join ‘Facebook’ and ‘Pin it’ to my account. Can anyone guide me on this?! Thanks!
Hi all - well I’m certainly not new to Folksy having been around since 2010 but in my AudreysCat alter ego . That shop is currently closed as I have - since the start of this year - been switching to WittyDawn. My shop is here https://folksy.com/shops/WittyDawn and I make various things from vintage fabric.
If you want to follow me on social media my facebook page is here https://www.facebook.com/WittyDawn and I am on twitter https://twitter.com/wittydawnuk .
I’m just starting back here on the forums! I used to be a very regular contributer as AudreysCat as some of you may remember and I am aiming to be a lot more active now - I was absent due to a sad family situation, however onwards and upwards ! I’m looking forward to chatting with my old Forum friends and making new ones
Hello, just felt like saying hi after getting my banner and avatar pics uploaded at last (thanks Folksy techi folk for fixing the bugs).
Im Tracey Smith from AwlSmith Leatherwork and i make cases, wallets and bags etc from the best vegetable tanned leathers using traditional methods. I hand sew everything (no machines here) and make simple, often vintage styled items that will last for years. I have had a website and a permanent craft stall every Saturday for a couple of years or so now but this is my first foray into Folksy land as a seller… I have to keep myself in check as a buyer though!!
Looking forward to seeing what the new venture brings. TTFN
