Hi i keep trying to do what all you clever people do and paste an item from my folksy shop in response to a request for present ideas etc. Only all I get is the url link not the actual image and info? What am I doing wrong? I am clicking that funny symbol 6 from the left and pasting the url into that box an dpressing update, but I still don’t get the image showing in the preview box. Why not? Help please. Thanks
There are 2 ways of doing this I think - probably the easiest is just to put your listing URL in the reply without clicking any symbols and you should just get a version of the listing, like this…
Or you can use the symbol which is a line with an arrow pointing up from it, I make it 7 from the left? Then you put the URL of your image and not your listing into the box that says ‘from the web’. If you want the image to link to your listing you need to click on ‘show more’ and put the listing URL in the new box, and you get this

Hi, if you want to get the URL kind of link in and it’s just showing the link and not the picture then you can always try deleting the last letter of your URL. Yes, I know it sounds daft, but it worked for me.
