Thank you Margaret and yes I do … I did reply in the other thread but I will say it again, when I do my biography lol you will be in the first chapter … even now when I do guest blog posts and interviews I mention you, not always by name, but you are part of my “Story” … and I’m so pleased you are
Just sold my Alliums, so nearly to the 100 sales mark … I’m giving a little extra with orders this weekend as a celebration of three years on folksy, not making a bit deal of the promo but just letting people know
Morning all. That’s pretty Max.
Yay on 3 years and all those sales Hazel.
Stephie I’ve got a can of Magic size coming hopefully tomorrow. I’m keen to try it although one of the things I like about silk is having the colours flow.
I have just got a commission this am for a silk scarf so I am off to get busy with that now.
I’m a little disappointed as my order from Cass Art which was due to be delivered today was given a slot between 15:40 and 16:40 for delivery. Our post room shuts and most people go home at 15:30 on a Friday, and I don’t want to have to sit outside for an hour waiting for a delivery van when I’ve got shopping to do and tea to get on!
I’ve had to delay it till Monday, still, I’ve got lots to be getting on with even without my new art supplies!
@HazelRayfield Congrats on your progress in wax, been watching you!!! for 3 years is it ? how time flies!!
Must say have you forgotten who actually started us all painting aceos? I and many other artists had never even heard of them, until our friend @teabreaks introduced us all to this miniature painting craze…Do you think she also deserves a mention in your story?
I have enjoyed several years painting aceos thanks to Brenda and this thread which she started yonks ago.
Good luck with your waxes ’ you still are the ’ Queen of Wax '
Jeanie x
Sainsburies shopping Hazel, it’s too far for Mum to go and do it now. I don’t mind, I quite like doing it and restocking the larder for another week
Quite right Jeanie, I owe my love of collecting art to Brenda, it never would have occurred to me that I could own art at affordable prices if she hadn’t introduced me to it. It was Brenda who started this thread too, we have a lot to be thankful to Brenda for.

Arrrrh thank you Jeanie, you are very kind
Yes Brenda has been a pioneer of the ACEO for sure Margaret not only introduced them to me but was my first ever online customer so has a special place in my story …
@Louisa15 Margaret, I do like to browse around waitrose - it’s close enough for me to walk so good to get bits in and between our main shop which hubby does in the car - he can do a full shop at Asda and travel there and back in 45 minutes if he goes on his own - I do the list - if I go with him it takes twice as long lol
